What music did your family play during the majority of your childhood?
Well I'm the second to last child so i listened to whatever my older siblings were listening to. Sometimes I listened to whatever came on the radio. Oldies, Hip Hop and Alot of R&B. A lot of R&B and Hip hop from the 90's of course!

Well the first time I recited a rhyme I was in the 4th grade. I had to recite a rhyme that I wrote about education. I really started performin in higschool at talent shows.

Versatile. I like alot of different things. I like to just mash everything up and see what comes out
Why did you choose that particular name as your moniker?

Well after going through all my phases and having a million aliases I realized if i was going to continue to purse music seriously I needed to be real and be myself so I went with my real name. Corinne Stevie, and Stevie is my middle name

Colors, Smells, Fashion Photography, and Timeless things.

I dont really have time to buy stuff between going to school and recording so i have a stylist who hooks me up and he knows me so well.
Why do you feel your subject matter is important?
Why do you feel your subject matter is important?
Well first my subject matter is important to people who relate to it. My subject matter is important because it's about my generation and the time we live in.

I'm from Miami, Florida and the latin and caribbean music there has influenced my work tremendously. My style is all about flavor, color and unique sounds.
What goals/aspirations do you have for yourself as an artist?

I want to be the best artist,person, and woman i can be. I want to expand and eventually get to the point where i can just create without having to worry about anything.

I'm currently working on a Million projects right now musically and artistically but i'll just talk about one.My latest project is called "Strawberry Fields in the sky". It's a collaboration between me and a experimental Hip Hop Producer out of Miami who goes by the name Brother to Brother.I don't want to say too much but basically it's me and the Beatles on the album and it's pretty dope.It should be droppin in mid March and I'm performin the songs live on Feb.22 at East Atlanta's Icehouse.

I think it's difficult to stay confident and positive sometimes but i just keep on keeping on.Really my main goal is to do my best and have fun.

SOmetimes I'm really hard on myself but i try not to be because I know I'm going to grow and get better everytime.

Sometimes i forget my words and i just laugh it off and i keep going like nothing happened.

I sew a little bit and do a lot of my own engineering. I like to play with sound.

Very awesome, very well-rounded interview! I really liked the second section a lot. I wish Ms. Stevie would have talked more about how dope she is as a visual artist as well, but it was bomb nonetheless.
